Danish Radio tested DRM with low power on 243 kHz long wave. In 2009 the power was increased to 200W but was mainly on the air for technical tests rather than DRM awareness in Denmark. The audio seems to comprise either short jingles or dead air. In 2011 DR purchased a new 50kW DRM capable transmitter for 243kHz closing 1062 kHz. All current broadcasts ar in AM mode.
