RTE tests via LW252 have been very limited as this is now the only AM transmitter in operation in Ireland. During installation RTE tested many DRM features. For a while the DRM web site listed tests between 2300 and 0600 UTC each day but nothing has been monitored since spring 2008 when the transmitter was commissioned.

RTE broadcasts the national football and hurling finals in held each September and used the DRM mode briefly to southern Europe using a transmitter in the UK. Check the RTE web site for details just before the first and third Sundays in September.
