In 2008 Radio Romania International (RRI) installed new 300kW transmitters at Tiganesti and Galbeni allowing RRI to broadcast in DRM mode from both of these sites. During the morning period both sites are in operation at the same time to Europe. The 100kW Saftica site is not used for DRM.
